This website
This website doesn’t ask you to create an account. If you email us, we receive whatever you include in your email. If you book a call, your booking goes through Calendly, which has its own privacy policy.
Information we handle for schools we work with
- School information: the school’s name, contact details, booking link, and the answers the school writes to common questions.
- Student inquiries: when a prospective student contacts a school through our form, we receive what they submit, such as their name, email, phone number (optional), and their question.
- Email records: a log of the emails sent on the school’s behalf, and whether someone clicked the booking link or unsubscribed.
How we use it
Only to run the service for that school: sending replies built from the school’s approved answers, alerting the school about questions that need a person, sending follow-ups to students who agreed to them, and showing the school its dashboard. We don’t sell personal information, and we don’t use it for advertising.
Companies that help us run the service
We use a small number of trusted providers to host the service and send email. To pick the right approved answer, the text of a student’s question may be processed by an AI provider. We don’t send students’ email addresses or phone numbers for that step.
Emails to students
Every email we send to a student says it’s an automatic reply and includes a one-click unsubscribe link. After someone unsubscribes, they get no more follow-ups.
Keeping and deleting information
We keep information only as long as the school uses the service, or as needed to meet legal obligations. A school can ask us to delete its data at any time. A student can ask the school, or email us, to have their information removed.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect information, like encrypted connections and limited access. No system is perfect, and we’ll tell affected schools promptly if something goes wrong.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date above and let the schools we work with know about meaningful changes.
